I got a popup saying my laptop isn't compliant and I'll lose access. What do I need to do?

The agent uses the device's state in its first answer: the OS version behind a compliance warning, the model behind a battery question.

Nothing is broken or hacked. Your MacBook Pro 14 is on macOS 15.1 and the device policy requires 15.2 or later. You have 6 days before access is restricted, so update when it suits you: Apple menu, System Settings, General, Software Update. It takes about 20 minutes and one restart.

For what the MDM doesn't show, the agent walks the employee through it, an Activity Monitor screenshot or a terminal command, and reads the result.
